Dr. Pimple Popper just posted a brand new pilar cyst video on Instagram.
She pops a perfectly intact "macadamia nut" cyst out of her patient's scalp before using a scalpel to dissect it and squeeze all of its contents out.
Fans loved watching the "heart-shaped" pop.
Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper, knows her way around a good cyst. Whether she's squeezing cream filling out of a face cyst or hosting her very own cyst-popping party, Dr. Pimple Popper is the reigning queen of cyst pops.
So when she posted a new pilar cyst removal video on Instagram, fans knew they were in for a treat. In the video, Dr. Pimple Popper pops a whole pilar cyst out of her patient's scalp using just a scalpel and her fingers. Then, she opens the cyst up and squeezes the contents out into a heart on her table—awwww!
"Fully In-tact Pilar Cyst Removal," she captioned the post. "I love when cysts come out whole because it means that I got all of the contents and the sac. Removing a cyst whole means there is a smaller likelihood that it will return in the future. Here’s a good cyst removal and a post-pop of the contents. #drpimplepopper #cyst."
Fans were all over this pop in the comments. "Awww its all heart shaped and everything," one user wrote. "Love watching this," another popaholic commented, and I have to agree.
"It's like a macadamia nut or something," Dr. Pimple Popper says as she squeezes the cyst out of her patient's hairline. Then, while dissecting the cyst, she explains what's inside. "All it is is skin that's shed into that," she says as the fluffy filling just keeps coming out.
Dr. Pimple Popper shows the camera how thick the cyst's walls are as she scoops out the contents so she can take a picture of them. "These cysts are different than a cyst we find on our body, usually," she says.
At the end of the video, she shapes the gunk into a heart, which is pretty adorable (as far as pimple-popping goes).
Who knew pilar cysts could be this romantic?
