  • In Dr. Pimple Popper's new Youtube video, she helps a woman with a "cutie pie" pilomatricoma in her forehead.

  • The woman is one of her first patients who's come to the office after reopening.

  • Dr. Pimple Popper uses her tweezers to pull out the pilomatricoma in "pebbles" until it's all cleared out.

Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper, is back where she's meant to be. Following her office closure due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, she has reopened and is back in her treatment room with new patients. This isn't a drill, folks. There are real-deal, brand-new videos coming your way. The first popped up on Youtube, and Dr. Pimple Popper helps a woman with a pesky bump on her forehead.

Dr. Pimple Popper gave her All Access subscribers a sneak peek yesterday on Instagram and offered a bit of background for the exciting new patient in the caption: "So excited that we are seeing patients again! One of our first had a small Pilomatricoma on her forehead #cutiepie"

This bump ends up being a pilomatricoma. If you haven't heard of them before, Dr. Pimple Popper explains in the video caption, "a pilomatricoma is a calcifying epithelioma of Malherbe, which is commonly a solitary but mobile growth under the skin which is most often confused to be an epidermoid cyst. These are benign growths, not painful or uncomfortable."

It doesn't matter if you understood all that, what does matter is the popping coverage is oh so satisfying. This bump has been on her forehead for years, since she was a small child, but it's about to go far far away. Dr. Pimple Popper slices over the top with her scalpel to get the popping started. She tries squeezing soon after, but realizes this bump requires a larger, deeper opening.

Even with a wider opening and many more scissor pokes, squeezing is not working. So, Dr. Pimple Popper grabs her tweezers and starts digging. She pulls out what she calls "pebbles" in bits and pieces until she's confident it's all removed. Phew, that was quite a struggle and a what a way for Dr. P to return to business.
