  • In Dr. Pimple Popper's new Instagram video, she helps a patient with a cutaneous horn or a wart jutting straight out of his arm.

  • The growth is stiff and looks a bit like a tree stump sticking out.

  • Dr. Pimple Popper doesn't need an ax to ax it, and she uses a scalpel to chop the "verruca" or "cutaneous horn" off in one piece.

Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper, is venturing into new territory today. You expect to see her popping and squeezing her way through lipomas, cysts, and blackheads. However, there are many other skin conditions she treats in her office. These are just as satisfying. (Trust!)

She shows off her chops with one unique condition in her latest Instagram video. Dr. Pimple Popper explains in the caption: "Sometimes I do more than just pop pimples! Here's a look at a "cutaneous horn" that was biopsied on my patients forearm. It was not a skin cancer or a precancerous lesion, but a verruca, a common benign wart. #linkinbio for more of this derm medley! #drpimplepopper #dermatology #skin"

Dr. Pimple Popper assesses the growth by poking it and opts to slice it clean off. She uses a scalpel, and the whole procedure is over before you know it. That growth isn't quite history, yet. She confirms the pathology by viewing it under the microscope to wrap it all up.

Fans have tons of things to say in response. One wanted to take things into their own hands: "Good grief I’d of cut that off long ago 🍴" Tbh, these are probably best left to the professionals.

The view totally transforms when the cutaneous horn goes under the microscope. One fan wrote, "Ok why is that pretty under a microscope." Perhaps it's pretty because it's benign and good news for Dr. Pimple Popper, the patient, and all the fans.
