When you hear dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper, is extracting a comedone from one of her patient's, you expect to see some squeezing. Well, the doc has many different types of extraction strategies, and only one of them is squeezing. She can choose to use her comedone extractor tool, clear it out with a fishing pole style, or use a pair of scissors to chop it off cleanly.
As you may have guessed, Dr. Pimple Popper is relying on one of her rarer strategies for popping a pimple in her latest Instagram video. She goes for a pair of scissors to start and finish the solar comedone pop. Dr. Pimple Popper is certainly ready to squeeze the day with her scissors, and her patient is ready for a clean ear transformation. The video begins with a view of the man's sun-damaged ear. Her fans describe it in the comments: "Poor man 😢 his skin looks so dry and fragile 😢"
Then, Dr. Pimple Popper pulls out her scissors and chops away at the white bump. She makes multiple slices before all the contents squeeze out. Yep, these scissors opened and squeezed the whitehead. Now that's some smart extraction thinking from Dr. Pimple Popper.
