Dr. Pimple Popper Cuts Off A Bead-Sized Eyelid Milium In A New IG Video
  • Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD a.k.a Dr. Pimple Popper just dropped yet another video on Instagram.

  • In this new vid, Dr. P goes to town on a teeny eyelid milium with a pair of scissors. The aforementioned milium was impossibly close to the upper lash line, it made many Popaholics super nervous!

  • “Not the scissors! 😩,” said one fan. And ICYMI: “milium” is the singular of “milia.”

When it comes to issues of the skin, there is only one woman to call: Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD a.k.a Dr. Pimple Popper.

Dr. P has seen it all: a "custard" steatocystoma, a "Taco Tuesday" cyst, the "cheese stick" pilar cyst, and even a "blackhead with eyes"! 👀

Naturally, I was relieved when I saw our girl behind the scalpel tackling this milium on a patient's eyelid—a pretty sensitive area to poke, I would think. Milia are tiny pearl-like bumps that contain keratin, which is basically like skin protein, according to Dr. P. And ICYMI: “milium” is the singular of “milia.” (You learn something new every day!)

In this brand new video, Dr. P first grabs a needle and starts poking at the small white bump. I am shook!

As someone with a couple of milia beneath her peepers, I was intrigued by what technique Dr. P would use. But as soon as I saw her bring out a needle, I knew this was not a job for me and my late-night tweezing. This requires professional assistance.

And that is exactly what this patient is getting. The milium just wouldn't budge! So Dr. P took a pair of serrated scissors and got to work. Usually, she nicks and extracts something like this, but this bad boy required the big guns—or scissors as it were.

While the snipping is underway, the patient asks if she can see the pop after the doctor is done.

“Of course you can, you can say your goodbyes if you’d like!” Dr. P joked. I love this woman.

The extremely superficial cyst (this sounds like an insult, but I mean it very literally!) eventually broke free of this woman’s eyelid, and just like a fairy tale, this story too had a happy ending.

The Popaholics were divided on this clip. Some said they would trust only Dr. P with a task as sensitive as this. I couldn’t agree more.

While others were biting their nails: “MY ANXIETY❗❗🚩🚩📈📈📈,” one fan wrote. “Not the scissors! 😩,” said another. “😨😨😨 nerve racking to watch..i was twitching and it was not even my eye 😂😂,” commented a fan who was clearly disturbed.

Whichever side you land on, it’s definitely an interesting watch!
