Dr. Pimple Popper Is Casting Patients for Her New TV Show

You could get the famous dermatologist to pop your zits on-camera.

Dr. Pimple Popper, also known as dermatologist Sandra Lee, has become internet-famous for the strangely addictive videos where she pops people's zits, cysts, and other skin growths. And soon, she'll be starring in a TLC reality show — and looking for cast members. The show is currently searching for people with skin conditions for Lee to treat on-screen, Refinery29 reports.

In order to get yourself into the running, you have to email popper@aberrantcreative.com with a selfie, a photo of your skin issue, and an explanation of how it has impacted your life. Dr. Pimple Popper is looking specifically for people with lipomas, cysts, large growths, undiagnosed skin conditions, or something "oozing, draining, or bleeding." (Naturally.) If you're chosen, you'll get free travel and accommodations and, of course, treatment from Dr. Pimple Popper herself at no added cost. In addition to filming your work with the doctor, the crew will come to your hometown to document your life before and after she's worked her magic. (Bonus: If you don't have what they're looking for but know someone who does, you can still get $500 just for finding them.)

"The TLC viewer goes on a journey with my patients during this series," Lee explained in a press release. "First, you meet the patients in their hometown and see how their skin condition affects their life and the people around them.... I evaluate every patient and decide on a treatment course to help their skin conditions — and afterward, we see how we have really transformed their lives!"

Of course, it's important to remember that it's totally OK to have acne, and dealing with skin conditions is entirely normal. But if you're into those pimple-popping videos that constantly go viral online, make sure you tune into the premiere on Wednesday, July 11 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC. In the meantime, you can check out Dr. Pimple Popper's Youtube channel for even more pimple-popping fun.
