All The Easter Peeps Flavors, RankedMarc Stauble

Easter celebrations aren't complete without festive sweets. Whether you're enjoying brunch staples like pancakes and waffles or baking some bunny-shaped desserts, you should really have a stash of Peeps on deck.

Just Born Quality Confections has been making the adorable marshmallow treats in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, since 1953. While you can find most of them year-round, they've been an Easter essential for nearly 75 years. We love to incorporate these brightly colored bunnies and chicks in all of our holiday recipes.

But beyond the classic colors, Peeps come in a wide variety of fun flavors that you wouldn't expect. Our team stopped by the Peeps factory and had the chance to try 13 of their wildest flavors—and we have some THOUGHTS. Here's our official and objective ranking of all of the Peeps you can enjoy this Easter season.

13. Sour Watermelon

The Sour Watermelon peeps come with a bright pink center and a dusting of sour green sugar. We're not entirely opposed to sour Peeps, but the watermelon flavor was all wrong.

12. Sparkly Wild Berry

These Peeps taste how we'd imagine a Bath and Body Works candle would taste. Go ahead and skip these.

11. Mike & Ike

If you're a die-hard Mike & Ike fan, you might enjoy the Peeps version. But if your feelings about the candy are less enthusiastic you can definitely avoid these.

10. Strawberry Delights

In theory, we love the idea of a chocolate covered Peep (because marshmallows and chocolate are already a perfect pairing). But the chocolate here is too waxy to be enjoyable.

9. S'mores Delights

The same argument for the chocolate-covered strawberry flavor applies here. But the toasty graham cracker flavor gives the s'mores version the slightest edge.

8. ICEE Blue Raspberry

We love a Blue Raspberry Icee, but the Peeps rendition doesn't do the flavor any favors.

7. Fruit Punch

This is a pretty polarizing flavor, in our opinion. We think children would love this version, but most adults can probably sit this one out.

6. Party Cake

We loved the adorable confetti-style sprinkles on the outside of these Peeps. The cake batter flavor may be too cloying for some, but it's still a solid option.

5. Sour Strawberry

Sour gummy lovers need to grab a box of these ASAP. The tart and tangy strawberry coating on the outside of these Peeps is perfectly balanced by the fluffy marshmallow interior. Don't knock it 'til you've tried it.

4. Dr Pepper

We may not know what the 23 flavors are that go into a can of Dr Pepper, but they pair really well with the taste of marshmallow. It captures the same creaminess that you'd enjoy in a soda float.

3. Rice Krispies Treats

Peeps

We've already used Peeps to make a Rice Krispies treat (and it's named a Peepsie treat, obviously). So working with Rice Krispies Treat is a natural Peeps partnership. Admittedly, it doesn't taste that different from the original—but it's still really good.

2. Classic

You know them, you love them. The original Peeps are Easter staples for a reason—we literally have no bad things to say.

1. Cotton Candy

We went into this taste test fully expecting for the original Peeps to end up on top, but then the cotton candy flavor blew us away. The light cotton candy flavor works perfectly with the marshmallows. The blue speckles on the outside are a little disconcerting at first, but every bite is literal heaven.
