Dr. Martens’ Latest Supreme Collaboration Features Shoes Made to Change Color Over Time

Dr. Martens and Supreme have linked yet again — this time to reimagine the classic 1461 shoe in a way that reveals new hues as you wear them.

The collaboration includes two versions of the iconic 3-eye shoe crafted in Arcadia and Rub Off leathers that deliver a subtly worn-in look. The more you wear the shoes, hidden colors will begin to emerge. A combination of green and blue will surface on the red edition while hits of shimmery silver will pop up on the black model.

Both shoes are equipped with black laces, but the red pair also comes with tonal laces. Each shoe is finished with Dr. Martens’ signature DMS sole, black welt stitching and Supreme branding stamped on the heel.

The streetwear label and the British brand have collaborated on a number of occasions over the years. In 2023, we saw the duo revamp the Penton Tassel loafers, as well as the Ramsey creeper. In 2022, Supreme gave the 1461 3-eye shoe a makeover that included an embroidered spiderweb graphic on the upper. Their collaborations invariably have an element that makes them stand out. In 2017, they marked the same style with a sacred heart graphic on the side.

Individually, both Supreme and Dr. Martens have partnered with various other brands, including Nike, Timberland, Rick Owens, Vetements, Marc Jacobs, Comme des Garçons and more.

Retailing at $188, the collaboration is now available to shop on Supreme.com. You will also be able to shop the shoes on drmartens.com starting tomorrow.
