Downtown Fresno’s ‘Market on Kern’ Returns

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Downtown Fresno’s “Market on Kern” returns on Wednesday.

From 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Kern Street in Downtown Fresno will shut down and allow local vendors to take over. As the season for farmer’s markets throughout the Central Valley approaches, Downtown Fresno is making sure not to leave neighbors left out.

Friday Night Farmers Market is coming to Clovis

According to the Downtown Fresno Partnership, DJ Princess Rose will lead the musical entertainment for opening day as attendees walk through Kern Street and browse the many booths and vendors.

  • Food Mood Kitchen

  • Bay Fresh

  • The Pie Mamas

  • Nuovo Wood-Fired Pizza

“The Market on Kern is more than just a market,” Fresno Downtown Partnership Event Coordinator Marissa Arreguin said, “It’s a community-driven initiative with a mission to support local farmers, promote sustainable agriculture, and foster meaningful connections within the community.”
