Dove Cameron’s Ex-Fiancé, Ryan McCartan, Accuses Her of Cheating

• Dove seemingly responded to Ryan’s claims on Twitter.

Remember when Dove Cameron was engaged to Ryan McCartan? Yeah, well, he’s out here on Instagram accusing her of cheating. This kinda shocking moment went down during a Q and A session when a fan asked, “What’s your proudest moment?”

Ryan responded, “Within two weeks, my fiancée cheated on and left me. I almost died from food poisoning, and Donald Trump was elected president. I truly didn’t think I would be able to make it through that part of my life. I’m proudest of the light that came from that darkness and my ability to survive and turn the anger and sadness I had into positive life changes and a new way forward.”

Dove hasn’t responded directly to the accusations, but she hit Twitter to tweet a quote that read, “When a toxic person can no longer control you, they will try to control how others see you. The misinformation will feel unfair, but stay above it, trusting that other people will eventually see the truth, just like you did.”

Hmm, subtle, whomst could she be talking about?!

As a reminder, Dove and Ryan were together for three years and engaged for six months before splitting in October 2016. Ryan made it clear Dove was the one who ended things, tweeting at the time, “Dove has decided this relationship isn’t what she wants. We still love each other very much. Please be sensitive, as this is painful.”
