Soooooo, on top of being nominated for a 2022 Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama Series for her work in Euphoria, Sydney Sweeney is also nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie for her work in The White Lotus. Just a casual double nomination, don't even worry about it!

Anyway, Sydney showed up on the Emmys red carpet looking like someone who is about to win two Emmys, wearing a stunning silver Oscar de la Renta number printed with flowers and complete with a bold bustle in the back. Loveeeeee.

In case you missed it, Sydney posted her reaction to that double nom on Instagram, where she called her mom in tears to tell her the news. She captioned the post, "What a morning! thank you so much to the @televisionacad for my emmy nominations! It’s an honor to know that both Olivia and Cassie have connected with so many. I’m so proud of both these shows and grateful to everybody that’s been apart of them. But most importantly mom, I love you, we did it through the ups and downs!🥺♥️🥰 thank you thank you!!"

Sydney later told IndieWire, “My mom only knew about Euphoria. And then I took another call, and they were like ‘Double nominee.’ I was like ‘Double nominee, what do you mean?’ And I looked it up. I was like, ‘Oh my god. This is crazy.’”

“I’m still in the ‘Is this happening? Is this real?’ phase,” she added. “I don’t think that’ll ever happen for me because I’m constantly still starstruck and can’t believe this life is real because for years and years and years, I dreamt and worked so hard in the hopes of being able to just have one line in a scene with somebody like that. So being able to be in a category where I’m nominated amongst incredible dream actresses of mine, I will still forever be starstruck.”
