November 12th marks the first annual Disney+ Day, a deal-packed celebration commemorating the second anniversary of Disney’s signature streaming service. Disney has entered full festivity mode, offering a vast assortment of special park events, membership points bonuses, in-store sales and other celebratory promotions from November 12th through the 14th.
Best of all, Disney+ Day means giant discounts on Disney+ subscriptions and movie screenings. If you play your cards right, you can enjoy a night at the movies (with ample refreshments) and one month of Disney+ for a little over $10. Check out these Disney+ Day deals:
New and Returning Subscribers Can Save 75% on a Disney+ Subscription
From now through 11:59 p.m. PST on November 14th, anyone who doesn’t have a current Disney+ subscription can score a one-month subscription for just $1.99, $6 cheaper than the usual $7.99/month subscription. Disney is notoriously tight-fisted when it comes to free trials, so it’s safe to say that it might be a while before we see another Disney+ discount as good as this one.
Current Disney+ subscribers can’t use this Disney+ Day promotion to discount their current subscription, but you don’t have to be a “new” subscriber to qualify — you’re eligible as long as you’re 18 or older and don’t have an active subscription. Once the month-long promotion period ends, your Disney+ service will auto-renew at the standard $7.99/month subscription price. If you’re just signing up to watch Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings or Jungle Cruise, make sure to cancel your subscription before the end of your first month.
Celebrate Disney+ Day with a $5 Mystery Movie at AMC Theatres
The traditional movie theater was the venue where the Walt Disney Company captured the hearts of millions and established its enduring cultural prevalence, so what better way to celebrate two years of Disney+ than discounted tickets to a classic Disney film screening at AMC Theatres?
From November 12th through the 14th, participating AMC locations will show four classic Disney+ Fan Faves for just $5 (plus tax). There isn’t any fine print suggesting that you have to be a Disney+ subscriber to take advantage of this deal, so it’s worth a shot if you aren’t interested in subscribing.
Of course, there’s a bit of a twist – the movies themselves are a surprise and you won’t know what the feature event will be until the show begins. As if these mysteries weren’t already tantalizing, each screening will also feature a surprise short. Each of the four surprise screenings features films from different imprints of the Walt Disney Company.

For an extra $5 (plus tax, on top of your $5 ticket), you’ll receive extra goodies. They include a commemorative Disney+ poster and a Cameo Combo from the concessions stand. That comes with a 20-oz.
