Dothan Botanical Garden ranks high among Alabama’s most beautiful garden

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — An independent ranking website has named a charming Wiregrass attraction among the best gardens in Alabama.

According to the MyDatingAdvisor ranking site, Dothan Area Botanical Gardens ranked number 8 out of 10 for the most beautiful gardens in the state.

Other Gardens that made it on the list include:

Birmingham Botanical Gardens (#1)
Bellingrath Gardens and Homes in Theodore (#2)
Huntsville Botanical Garden (#3)
Jasmine Hill Gardens in Wetumpka (#4)
Mobile Botanical Gardens (#5)
Jemison Park in Mountain Brook (#6)
Aldridge Gardens (#7)
Jeff Friend Trail in Gulf Shores (#9)
The Garden at Guntersville (#10)

The DABG is known for the Coleman Tropical House, Wedding Garden, and the Wings of Wonder butterfly house.

DABG’s website revealed a new attraction coming to the garden, the Japanese Maple Grove.

The grove will be located between the Asian Garden and Hydrangea Garden and will contain dozens of Japanese Maple species.

Spyware maker pcTattletale shutters after data breach
The founder of the spyware app pcTattletale said his company is "out of business and completely done" following a data breach over the weekend. The shutdown comes days after a hacker defaced the spyware maker's website and published links containing large amounts of data from pcTattletale's servers, including databases of customers' information and some victims’ stolen data. The now-defunct app had 138,000 customers who had signed up to use the service, per data breach notification site Have I Been Pwned.
