The New Doritos Dip Comes in Cool Ranch Jalapeño and Spicy Nacho Flavors

Frito-Lay’s Doritos are one of those chips that don’t require a dip or salsa in order for it to be complete. You simply open a bag of the Cool Ranch or Nacho Cheese (or one of its limited-edition varieties) and eat away. However, the brand is now turning the classic flavors into actual dips themselves.
The first variety puts a spicy twist on the Cool Ranch chips. The Doritos Dip Cool Ranch Jalapeño has the creamy taste of ranch paired with the heat of a pepper. When you bring them together, it’s sure to be a combination worth raving about. The Spicy Nacho-flavored dip also features jalapeños on the packaging, so we don’t think it’s skimp on the heat. Plus, you can’t go wrong with anything cheesy, right?
The 10-ounce containers can be an ideal option for a variety of chip-dipping. A plain potato chip is always a solid choice, since they’re not already filled with spices, but we wouldn’t put it past ourselves to just go with whatever’s in our cabinets. And don’t think we haven’t thought about dipping a Cool Ranch Dorito in the Cool Ranch Jalapeño dip and Nacho Cheese Dorito in the Spicy Nacho dip. It just might be flavor overload (in the best way possible).
It’s important to note that Frito-Lay has yet to announce these new dips, but you can’t stop the internet from doing its thing and popping up on various retailers’ websites, including Kroger, Food Fair Markets, Carlie C’s IGA, and Londonderry Village Market. This is a good sign that the Doritos Dips will be released sooner rather than later.
