Doodles Celebrates Crocs Collaboration at ComplexCon 2023

Doodles had its own booth at ComplexCon this year. On Nov. 18 and 19, the brand showcased an array of products, including in-line Doodles apparel and the Crocs collaboration, during the event, which was held in Los Angeles.

The setup also included a merch display with Foam Doodles bus with staff members, including Head of Live Experience, Mackenzie Kearst, an 80” screen with animated Doodles content, and the PS5 giveaway display.

The Doodles x Crocs collaboration was released in August. Both brands teamed up to create colorful and inventive camo-printed clogs.

The collaborative shoes were released in limited quantity and retailed for $120.

The colorful clog featured Doodles’ signature pastel camo design and was accompanied by an eight-pack of cutesie Jibbitz charms and a redeemable digital experience. The footwear comes in an array of both men’s and women’s sizes and also features adjustable straps for a secure fit.

The clogs also include a myriad of divots on the toe boxes that allow for endless customization. All the whimsical Jibbitz charms were dreamt up by Scott Martin. The charms depict original Doodles characters cast in vibrant pastel hues.

Each purchase of the collaborative Classic Cog came with a link to claim a Crocs Box digital collectible during the claim eligibility period.

In this year alone, Crocs has dropped many unique silhouettes that often feature playful and inventive designs, expanding its footwear horizons in the process. Crocs has lent its clog and sandal styles to many franchises including everything from video games to food.

The iconic brand has dipped its proverbial toes into the worlds of Pop-Tarts, Crayola, Kanghyuk, Disney, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Cocoa-Cola, Lisa Frank, Minecraft, Ron English, Hello Kitty and Pokemon in the past. Oftentimes, these collabs come with wild matching Jibbitz inspired by each institution’s brand identity, characters and color schemes.
