The 2024 Oscars red carpet delivered a feast for fashion fans, with Anya Taylor-Joy, Zendaya, and Margot Robbie being among the best-dressed stars of the night. And while movie buffs may have gone to bed once the awards show wrapped, eagle-eyed celeb enthusiasts know the night just get started once the Best Picture winner is announced.

At the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, stars like Quinta Brunson and Chrissy Teigen took metallics to a scintillatingly sheer place in gowns comprised of cool-toned silver appliqués, illusion mesh, and little else. The Oscars red carpet trend of structured silhouettes shape-shifted into the sultrier, curve-hugging gowns worn by Jessica Alba and Sofia Vergara. Elsewhere, plunging necklines and low backs were also spotted.

Read on to see the best looks from the Vanity Fair Oscars party and other 2024 Oscars events.

Da'Vine Joy Randolph

Da'Vine Joy Randolph's second look of the night was every bit as intricate as her first, albeit vampy and beaded rather than ruffled and pale blue.

Colman Domingo in Balmain

We didn't think Colman Domingo could top his Oscars red carpet look, but this Balmain ensemble from the fashion house's Fall/Winter 2024 Ready-to-Wear collection features a see-through shirt so it wins, obviously.

Jodie Turner-Smith in Gucci

Looking every bit a fashion icon in a Gucci gown, Louboutin pumps, and Pasquale Bruni jewelry, Jodie Turner-Smith's daring gown plunged, clung, and moved beautifully.

Dominic Sessa in Tom Ford

Another one of the night's best-dressed men, Dominic Sessa traded his classic Tom Ford tuxedo for a liquid shimmer dinner jacket from the same brand.

Lupita Nyong'o in Armani Privé

Lupita stayed shimmered at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in an Armani Privé gown from the brand's SS23 Couture collection. Like Randolph, she swapped her pale blue color palette for witchy and wonderful midnight hues.

Sydney Sweeney in Marc Bouwer

Channeling her inner Marilyn Monroe in an archival Marc Bouwer gown, Sydney Sweeney looked every bit the ethereal ingenue.

Danai Gurira in Zuhair Murad

In a peachy pink gown and matching sheer opera gloves from the Zuhair Murad Spring/Summer 2024 Ready-to-Wear collection, Danai Gurira's after-party ensemble was equal parts Old Hollywood glamour and 2024 runway trending romance.

Kylie Jenner in Ludovic de Saint Sernin

Kylie Jenner also opted for a look pulled from the runway. Her semi-sheer maroon gown appeared in the Ludovic de Saint Sernin Fall/Winter 2024 collection. Kylie complemented her look's shimmer with sleek hair, subtle shine on her skin, and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Rosé in Saint Laurent

Rosé's dreamy Saint Laurent look took boho chic to new heights in a stunning shade of ochre not usually seen in gauzy, bow-centric styles.

Lindsey Lohan in Balenciaga

Lindsey Lohan shimmered in a silvery Balenciaga strapless gown that echoed her statement earrings.

Margot Robbie in Mugler

Margot Robbie stayed cinched after the Oscars but opted for a brighter, gilded palette in a vintage Mugler corset top and bronze overcoat from the brand's spring/summer 1996 ready-to-wear collection.

Jennifer Lawrence in Givenchy

Jennifer Lawrence also leaned into vintage vibes with her post-Oscars look. The white square-neck gown is archival Givenchy from its fall/winter 1996 couture collection.

Greta Lee in Loewe

Greta Lee might not have taken home an Oscar, but she was all smiles in this delicately adorned Loewe gown that featured intricately beaded chainlink as its halter strap.

Emily Ratajkowski in Jacquemus

If anyone would take the night's trend of structural designs to a daring place, it would be Emily Ratajkowski, who wore this delightfully off-kilter Jacquemus gown to the Vanity Fair Oscars party.

Charles Melton in Ferragamo

Classics are a classic for a reason. Charles Melton's double-breasted Ferragamo suit might not have been the more daring post-Oscars look, but it was absolutely immaculate.

Anya Taylor-Joy in Miss Sohee

While Anya Taylor-Joy's after-party look is strikingly different from her Oscars red carpet ensemble, the two both share vintage vibes that suit Joy's anachronistic energy. Her slinky Miss Sohoee mini stood out thanks to its bold shoulder beading and statement headpiece.

Donald Glover in Amiri

Donald Glover channeled vintage vibes in a warm-toned Amiri ensemble featuring pleated linen pants, a peachy button-down (and visible undershirt!), Boucheron jewelry, contrasting pocket square, two-tone oxfords and, we must say, a very '70s 'stache.

Camila Mendes in Tamara Ralph

Camila Mendes wore a show-stopping statement piece designed by Tamara Ralph. We love the rosette motif and the gilded breastplate on this mermaid gown. Mendes' delicate Mejuri earrings make the perfect understated accessory.

Hunter Schafer in Bottega Veneta

Hunter Schafer's vampy Bottega Veneta after-party look was all sleekness and subtlety. The curve-hugging gown featured a thigh-grazing side slit and a blink-and-you'll-miss-it peplum. Schafer kept her jewelry subtle as well, opting for a pair of opera gloves as her main standout accessory.

Quinta Brunson in Marc Bouwer

Quinta Brunson's nearly-naked Marc Bouwer gown was among our favorite after-hours look. Between the abstract sequin pattern, asymmetrical neckline, and strappy Santoni sandals, there's lots of glamour to love here.

Kendall Jenner in Maison Margiela Couture

The supermodel struck a pose in a dramatic Maison Margiela couture that left little to the imagination with its sheer fabrics and cutout details. Jenner's Lorraine Schwartz statement earrings beautifully echoed her gown's delicate lace pattern.

Chrissy Teigen in Oscar de la Renta

Getty Images

Rather than gaining shimmer from sequins, Chrissy Teigen's high-necked Oscar de la Renta gown delivered shine courtesy of contrasting illusion mesh and flowery vines that veered between '70s florals and abstraction.

Pamela Anderson in Oscar de la Renta

Getty Images

Pamela Anderson looked fresh-faced and effervescent in a loose-fitting floral gown and delicate Pandora Lab-Grown Diamonds jewelry that signal the rise of boho chic is well on its way.

Jessica Alba in Tamara Ralph & Gianvito Rossi

Jessica Alba's shimmering silver Tamara Ralph gown melded structure with dreamy rosettes for a look that was as romantic as it was on trend.

Sofia Vergara

Sofia Vergara's keyhole gown paired her preference for form-fitting mermaid gowns with the romance of trending bows.

Meg Ryan

Meg Ryan's sheer metallic look mixed metals with a blend of gold and silver florals and a subtle but striking peplum.

Demi Lovato in Sophie Couture

Singer Demi Lovato hit a style high note in this dramatic Sophie Couture number that was entirely covered in black sequins and featured a plunging off-shoulder neckline that dared to bare.

Kris Jenner in Oscar de la Renta

The matriarch of the Jenner-Kardashian clan looked regal in a champagne-colored dress from Oscar de la Renta. The long-sleeved look was speckled with beaded fringe that swished as Jenner walked.

Serena Williams in Off-White

The tennis legend sported a look fresh off the Paris runways, rocking a dress from Off-White that made its debut a mere two weeks ago. Her fitted black column dress was highlighted with intricate white and red beading at the neckline and on her gloves.
