Don't Panic, But 'Game of Thrones' Dropped Another Major Hint at Who Ends Up on the Iron Throne

Y'all, IDK how anyone is going to make it to the Game of Thrones finale with all these wild theories and hints floating around, which immediately send the internet into a collective panic attack each time. Regardless of your current blood pressure, though, HBO just dropped another hint at who could be sitting on the Iron Throne when all is said and done, and It! Is! Wild!

This afternoon, HBO posted a photo of the inky black throne, and if you didn't look close enough, you might have missed that the throne is actually the head of Daenerys Targaryen's dragon Drogon. In case you're not up to date with her three dragons, Dorogon is the black and red one named after Khal Drogo, Rhaegal is the green and bronze one named after Jon Snow's dad, and Viserion is now the ice dragon who was named after her brother.

So what does this mean? Well, HBO basically never puts a creature on these posters, which could mean that it's now totally possible to have one on the throne and ruling over everyone. It's highly unlikely because no human would let that happen, but it's possible.

But here's a more substantial theory: Since Daenerys owns Drogon, it could be implied that she ends up on the throne and brings him along with her, because why on earth would you ever leave your dragon behind?

Of course, HBO is notorious for releasing these types of posters and even put every main character on the throne in other ones this year. So, this could either mean a whole lot of nothing or it could be the key to it all! You honestly never know with this network.

Meanwhile, fans are convinced Sansa Stark and Arya Stark will die before the show ends because of how their statues in the Winterfell crypts look. What's the truth!!?
