Don't Miss This Synchronized Dance Troupe That Came All the Way From France to 'AGT' to Win Howie Mandel's Golden Buzzer

It was "Vive la France!" on America’s Got Talent tonight when the 64-member dance troupe Murmuration took the stage for a stellar performance of synchronized dance moves.

“We are 64 dancers,” said Jibril Maillot, who was dancing in front of the troupe, actually bringing the total to 65. “We traveled all the way from France. Going onstage at America’s Got Talent, we dream a lot because the most famous artists are from the United States. So, we tried to make something really beautiful and unique. Winning America’s Got Talent will change the life of everyone, allowing us to perform in Las Vegas.”

The dance troupe was created just a few years ago by Sadeck Berrabah, who was unable to perform for AGT because he is ill, but they phoned him and promised to make him proud. Jibril and Sadeck are best friends, and Jibril is who the creator, leader, and choreographer of Murmuration trusted the most to take his place at the audition.

“We are blessed to be here,” Jibril added. “This one is a new piece that we created just for America’s Got Talent. I hope it will allow us to reach the stars. We are here to win.”

Then the dancers took the stage, sitting in chairs, and performing incredible synchronized movements – and they did it blindfolded, making it even more impressive that they were able to stay so precise in their coordinated movements.

“Wow! You guys were so amazingly in sync even though you couldn’t see anything, and there are so many of you,” judge Heidi Klum said. “But it was so elegant with so much grace. I thought it was fantastic.”

“I think that kind of synchronization is amazing,” Sofia Vergara added. “It was spectacular. At the beginning, it reminded me of my Golden Buzzer last year, The Mayyas. But you guys have your own style and I thought it was magnificent.”

Simon Cowell had lost his voice, so he was unable to comment, so that just left Howie Mandel to weigh in.

“I was mesmerized. I find what you do hypnotic,” Howie said. "I find it very original. I find it almost more magnificent when you get a large group of people, and the movements are smaller but perfect. It blew me away. Even sitting here, I want to do something.”

So saying, Howie got up and began making weird movements with his own arms, moving along the judges table until he reached the Golden Buzzer, which he pressed.

“Dreams come true. I am very proud of everyone,” Jabril said when the dancers were once again backstage.

America’s Got Talent airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
