  • Donnie Wahlberg is known to be close with his fans whether that's on the set of Blue Bloods or on stage with New Kids on the Block.

  • The pop and R&B boy band are hitting the road for their upcoming Mixtape Tour starting May 2022.

Blue Bloods star and 90's heartthrob Donnie Wahlberg is giving fans mini heart attacks. No, not from showing off his six pack (although, it would warrant a similar reaction), but because we may be getting new music soon.

Donnie took to Instagram to give his followers a behind the scenes look that has everyone scratching their heads. " 🤖❤️♾💫 #TeamNoSleep #BHLove4Ever," he captioned a photo of himself in a recording studio with the post's location labeled as "Parts Unknown."

Fans were quick to speculate and weigh in on his cryptic caption. "Up to something epic? 😉," asked one fan. "I hear new music 🙌🏻♥️," predicted another. One person wrote, "Oooohhhh yeeeesssss whatever you’re doing I’m into it! Thanks for somehow making me #teamnosleep from that far away 😂".

True New Kew Kids on the Block fans are able to decipher some of Donnie's cryptic hashtags. "#BHLove4Ever" is simply a way to show some love for the band's fanbase who are labeled as "Blockheads." Donnie wrote this tweet in 2011 explaining what BH meant to him:

Donnie even went as far as getting a tattoo in honor of his fans. The tattoo reads "Love eternal" in the middle of an infinity sign connected by the letters "B" and "H" for New Kids on the Block's "Blockhead" fan base.

Time will tell if it'll be a solo track from Donnie or a group effort with the New Kids on the Block. Fans are leaning towards the latter. After all, the Blue Bloods star is getting ready to hit the road with his fellow boy band members later this year for the Mixtape Tour where they'll be joined by other legendary guests, including Salt-N-Pepa, Rick Astley, and En Vogue (tickets on sale now).

Needless to say, Donnie's post had fans in a frenzy and now we're all patiently awaiting a possible new track from New Kids on the Block.
