Donnie Wahlberg Delivers Emotional Speech as 'Blue Bloods' Wraps Season 13

The star celebrated the end of filming in a unique way.
Donnie Wahlberg and the show Blue Bloods just hit another major milestone as they finished production on Season 13.
Wahlberg, who plays the character Detective Danny Reagan, shared a video of the emotional moment, with the actor going from feeling gleeful to bittersweet as he thanked the cast and crew and said goodbye–for now.
In the video, everyone cheers as they call a wrap on production after filming a scene with Wahlberg and his co-star Marisa Ramirez. Initially, Wahlberg celebrates by cheering and doing a groovy dance on set.
Once the cheers settle down, Wahlberg embraces a more serious approach, delivering a speech to everyone gathered there, thanking them for their hard work. He emotionally ends the speech with, "I love you guys."
Wahlberg wrote in the caption, "I can’t tell you all how fortunate I am to work with such an amazing cast & crew, nor can I ever properly express my gratitude to them and to all of you — our loyal fans & viewers!"
"I can, however, promise to keep working my ass off to show you how incredibly thankful I am for this most wonderful opportunity to be welcomed into your homes (with my TV family) each week, to be part of your lives and to have you as part of mine — and to be so blessed to do what I love to do everyday," he continued.
The actor finished by saying, "Thank you! On to Season 14! See you in July! Let’s go!" The show has already been renewed for a 14th season by CBS, and based on Wahlberg's statement, it sounds like production for new episodes is scheduled to start in July.
Fans shared their love for the show and Wahlberg in the comments, with one person writing, "You are such an amazing person. Thank you for being so humble."
"Just LOVE this show. So glad that you all still love making it ❤️," said another.
Along with Wahlberg and Ramirez, Blue Bloods stars Bridget Moynahan, Tom Selleck, Will Estes, Len Cariou, and more. Season 13 is currently airing on CBS.
