Donna Mills is sharing the secret for her youthful appearance, and it turns out the magic is in her mindset.
During her recent appearance on CBS' Sunday Mornings, host Tracy Smith asked Mills, "How do you... how do you look like this?!"
As the two share a laugh, Smith continues, "How do you stay healthy and looking the way you do?"
To which the General Hospital alum joked, "Oh, it's hard."
"This is what 82 looks like. This is what 82 can be. I mean, that's kind of my message," Mills shared. "That's what I want women to know — it's not over. You know? It doesn't have to be."
"I wanna still contribute. If I'm gonna be here, I wanna do something with it," she said.

Elsewhere in the conversation, Mills admitted that, like anyone else her age, she experiences aches and pains but doesn't let them stop her: "You just have to get past that, and say, 'I'm going to do it anyway.'"
"The hard part is that you know it's the last chapter," Mills continued, "And I don't want to go away, so I'm hanging on as long as I can and trying to be as much as I can be for as long as I can be."
"We have this extended lifecycle now," she explained. "Let's make the last part of it one of the best."
Mills, who previously took 18 years off at age 54 to raise her daughter Chloe Mills, was also quick to shut down any talk about retirement.
She noted, "I figure they have to have somebody to play the grandmother, I'm available for those things."
