After a week without power following Hurricane Fiona, Puerto Rico needs fast, generous, and effective help from the federal government as well as from businesses and nonprofits.

Hurricane Fiona hit Puerto Rico last weekend as a Category 1 storm with sustained winds of 90 mph, per CNN causing a power outage for millions across the island. "In many areas that had never seen flooding, there has been an unprecedented accumulation of water," Governor Pedro Pierluisi said. "In fact, in many areas, it was greater than what we saw during Hurricane Maria."

While immediate crisis response is underway, it will not be enough. Here, we list various organizations that are focusing their efforts on recovery and aid for the people of Puerto Rico.
