Don Jr. and Lara Trump repeatedly misspell Robert Mueller’s name: ‘If you hadn’t inherited money, you’d never get a job’

Celebrities like Chris Evans and Alyssa Milano have had a lot to say about Robert Mueller’s testimony in a congressional hearing on Wednesday — and so have the Trumps. Unfortunately, some of them have succumbed to a few typos when it comes to the name of the former Special Counsel leading the investigation into claims that Donald Trump conspired with Russia to win the 2016 election.

To be fair, Mueller’s name has thrown off others thanks to the way it’s pronounced, which is “Mull-er,” rather than the expected “Mew-ler.” That may explain why, in their rush to dismiss the proceedings — during which Mueller confirmed that his report did not “totally exonerate,” as House Judiciary Committee chairman Jerry Nadler put it, the president — both first son Donald Trump Jr. and daughter-in-law Lara Trump botched the spelling of the lawyer’s name.

Lara Trump, who is married to the president’s son Eric and is herself spearheading the Women For Trump campaign for 2020, referenced “Muller” twice in her tweet claiming that Mueller had found “no collusion,” though that is not accurate, as the former Special Counsel told the committee that his team “did not address collusion, which is not a legal term.”

After commenters poked fun at her spelling error, she deleted the tweet and reposted it, though one “Muller” reference was not corrected.

Just a day after his sister Ivanka took heat for congratulating Boris Johnson on becoming prime minister of the United “Kingston,” Don Jr. managed to write “Mueller,” “Meuller” and “Muller” in one single tweet.

Naturally, Trump critics couldn’t resist chiming in.

The first son did, to his credit, come back with the correct spelling in time to post this meme mocking the hearing.
