I Don’t Know How I Survived So Many Winters Without These Snuggly Wool Leggings

I have no problem getting up and running in the summer, but leaving my warm, comfy bed to go for an icy winter run has been THE ultimate struggle. Well, at least that was before I came across a pair of super cozy leggings, perfect for running outside in cold weather. They've definitely helped me to stay on top of my routine.

I really have to give credit to Icebreaker 200 Oasis Deluxe Merino Wool Leggings — they've been the reason I've stayed commited to working out even on the chilliest of days. If you haven't heard of the brand, its wool leggings can stand up to harsh winds, and they aren't made from just any old type of wool. Icebreaker uses the sofetest Merino wool, which isn't itchy at all, is breathable, and adjusts according to the temperature. It's actually how Merino sheep are able to stay warm in as low as -4 degrees, but can keep cool during the summer at a sweltering 95 degrees.

What I really love just as much as the temperature-regulating fabric is that these leggings are also extremely thin. Not in a flimsy and see-through type of way — they're opaque, yet sleek enough for layering. Sometimes I'll even wear them as a base layer underneath my skinny jeans when I need to bundle up.

The wool leggings are a bit of a splurge, costing $110. But, when I think about the fact that I'll pretty much be wearing them every single day this winter, they're worth every penny and more.
