The commercial that Don Lewis’s family and attorney bought for the premiere of Dancing With the Stars actually didn’t air in every state. Luckily, some viewers got ahold of the ad and posted it online:

Original story: September 14, 2020

Tonight is the premiere of Dancing With the Stars, and there’s so much to look forward to. Already, fans of the ABC show can get excited about new host Tyra Banks, new judge Derek Hough, and stars like Skai Jackson, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Monica Aldama, Chrishell Stause, and Carole “allegedly fed her missing husband to her tigers” Baskin. It’s going to be a wild ride, and Don Lewis’s family just came through with an update that will convince you to pay attention.

It’s been 23 years since Don, Carole’s millionaire former husband, went missing. Joe Exotic alleged she fed him to her tigers at Big Cat Rescue, but Carole has fiercely denied this multiple times. Still, Don’s family isn’t convinced that she didn’t have anything to do with his disappearance. So, according to TMZ, Don’s family and their attorney, John Phillips, bought ABC airtime to ask the public to send in any tips about what might’ve happened or where Don might be. Also, unofficially, it’ll probably serve as a way for the family to troll Carole a little bit, which makes some sense considering they think her appearance on the show is “grossly insensitive.”

It’s not clear how much they paid for this spot, but the commercial will air during the first ad break, so it definitely wasn’t cheap! If you’re watching tonight, keep an eye out for the commercial, which will feature Don’s daughters, his former assistant, and the attorney.
