Dominick Walker And Rizu Akuma Advance To Stop 2 of SLS Championship Tour In Tokyo

The Primitive Park was home to some of the most talented up and coming skaters in the world this past weekend as Street League’s 2023 Select Series LA stop swept through the city.

With 30 skaters fighting to snag a spot in the Tokyo stop of the 2023 SLS Championship Tour, it’s no surprise it was a heated contest from start to finish. Still, only two advanced…

Big congrats to Dominick Walker and Rizu Akama for taking the top spots on the podium and securing their spots at SLS Tokyo for Stop 2. They both killed it and you can’t deny these W’s were well deserved. Peep the clips!

That said, everyone was looking good and there was no shortage of energy on and off the course. Should that surprise us, though? These are some of the hungriest, most talented skaters in the game right now and they each respectively brought their all.

Dominick was so hyped he straight up stomped his trick and exited the building! Can you blame him? I guess we'll just see you in Tokyo, Dom!

If you thought this stop was heated, just wait until Stop 2 on August 12th. We’re expecting some big moments in Japan. Stay tuned!
