Earlier this month, the singer took to Instagram to give his followers a preview of partnership, serenading his fans by playing the guitar while wearing 1460 boots– another emphasis of the brand’s relationship with his musical identity.

The 1460 Icon boots photographed on the musician first made its debut on the scene in 1960, experiencing many iterations and updates throughout the decades. Constructed with smooth leather, the shoes feature grooved sides, a heel-loop, and yellow stitching, which are some of their standout features. A comfortable two-tone PVC sole marked with the brand’s signature grooving and unique tread completes the outsole, which the company says is now more flexible than ever.

Also included in the construction of the boots are Goodyear-welted lines that are heat-sealed and reinforced with Dr. Martens’ welt stitching. Adding to the overall comfort of the shoe, is a wider and more rounded footbed. While Fike showcased the black colorway in his campaign, the 1460s come in a range of other colorways including cherry red, white, green and more. The shoes are available to purchase online for $170.

Dominic wrote a special poem included in his IG caption revealing his love for the brand, revealing heartfelt (and broken) moments of life that he has walked through wearing his Dr. Martens. It reads below:

“I love these shoes
I’ve been known to fall in love with women who love these shoes
One time I was actually dumped in these shoes
It hurt less
Or maybe it hurt just the same and I walked it off
Either way
That’s a good shoe @drmartensusa #drmartenspartner @drmartens”
