  • Hold on to your pants, Dolly Parton fans! The living legend is releasing new music!

  • Just recently, the 77-year-old country star took to Instagram to tease her new single “World on Fire,” which comes out Thursday.

  • And I just have to point out: the IG snap itself was rather iconic, with Dolly perched atop the world rocking a minidress that totally shows off her killer legs.

Living legend Dolly Parton certainly gets fans all excited whenever she releases new music. I mean, people promptly freak the heck out—and rightly so. Well, hold onto your pants, because Dolly’s dropping a new single on Thursday.

The 77-year-old country star teased new music on Instagram with a photo that’s kind of everything. In it, Dolly is perched on top of the world (because of course) while working a minidress that shows off miles of toned legs. Literally, her legs stretch from one hemisphere to the other.

Dolly kept the caption simple, writing: “‘World On Fire’ out Thursday. ❤️🔥”

Cue people everywhere, bugging out: “The supreme ruler of the world,” one person wrote in the comments. While another said, “Good Golly, Mrs. Dolly! Can't wait for this!” Even the Academy of Country Music chimed in with: “You are our world, Dolly ❤️”

This is far from Dolly’s only leggy moment lately—she also showed off her sculpted legs on the cover of Rockstar, her new album dropping in November.

So...what does Dolly do to stay in such amazing shape? Well, she’s set to co-host the ACM Awards with Garth Brooks later this week, so she’s got a busy schedule. Still, she finds time to squeeze in a little fitness.

Dolly told WSJ Magazine in 2021 that she’s not really into hitting the gym, but she still finds a very Dolly-like way to get her heart rate up every day. “I’m not big on going to the gym…and I’m particular about who I sweat with,” she joked. So, she said she’s created her own “rejoicing exercises.”

“I grew up in the Pentecostal church where we used to do a lot of shouting and jumping around,” she shared. “I keep my motor running in the mornings when I just shout through the house praising the Lord.”

Her mornings start early, by the way: Dolly gets up at 3 a.m., she told WSJ. “I just love the wee hours,” she said. “I pray every day that God will put all the right things, all the right people in my life, and take all the wrong things, all the wrong people out, and guide me. Then I figure out what I want to wear and what I want to accomplish…and I have my cup of ambition.”

Dolly hasn’t always had the healthiest eating habits—she shared in her documentary Dolly Parton: The Queen of Country that she cycled through a lot of diets that worked for a little bit but never created lasting results, according to The Express. Now, she’s learned how to eat a balanced diet and focuses on quick and easy meals.

“I usually try to keep some homemade egg salad around,” she told WSJ. “Through the week I’ll eat things like egg salad on toast with tomato, and sometimes I’ll have a bagel with cream cheese, cucumbers and tomatoes.”

Dolly previously told Oprah Winfrey that she doesn’t think about her age. “I don’t think about my life in terms of numbers,” she said. “First of all, I ain’t never gonna be old because I ain’t got time to be old. I can’t stop long enough to grow old.”

Is it Thursday yet?
