Dolly Parton Weighs In on Rumors That She Insured Her Breasts

Apparently, there are rumors that Dolly Parton, living legend and forever icon, insured her breasts—and she’s officially setting everyone straight. The subject came up on Wednesday’s Today With Hoda & Jenna while discussing Heidi Klum’s famously insured legs. But while it is 100 percent true that Heidi’s legs are insured (one for more than the other, fun fact), Dolly’s breasts are not.

“It’s not true about that,” she said. “Years ago, was it Betty Grable or one of the great famous stars that was famous also for her legs? And at that time, I said, ‘Well, maybe I should get my boobs insured since I’m famous for them.’ It was just a joke. I didn’t do that. By the way, you can get new boobs but you can’t get new legs!”

Noted! And speaking of Dolly, she also recently opened up about her super-private marriage to Carl Thomas Dean, telling Daily Pop, “I like to dress up for Carl. Every day, I put on some makeup and fix my hair because I think, Well, the whole world, I’m out here and everybody else sees me all dressed up, and I’m not going to just kind of go home and just flop on him. Nobody wants to make out with a slouch! It’s important to me that I look as good as I can. I think it kind of helps keep things spicy.”
