Dolly Parton Just Released a New Baking Mix for the Holidays

Who doesn’t want to bake with Dolly?

I am eagerly awaiting the release of Dolly Parton’s next album, “Rockstar.” She’ll be dueting (and sometimes trio-ing) with rockers on some of their biggest hits. It comes out mid-November, and I’m betting it will be a fantastic sing-along soundtrack to holiday baking, another one of Dolly’s loves. Early last year, Dolly released a line of baking mixes with Duncan Hines whose wild popularity led to another collab of mixes for brownies, cornbread, and biscuits.

Now, Dolly and Duncan Hines have turned their attention to the upcoming holidays with a collaboration that you can use for the cookie trays you share with friends and family.

Sugar cookies are a must-have on holiday cookie trays. Holiday-hued frosting adds a festive vibe and makes them a favorite with kids. Dolly’s newest Duncan Hines collab—a Holiday Sugar Cookie Kit— has almost everything you’ll need to create frosted and decorated sugar cookies.

The kit includes cookie mix, frosting, holiday sprinkles, and a recipe to turn the sugar cookie mix into Dolly’s favorite cinnamon swirl cookies. It also has a scannable barcode that takes you to Dolly’s holiday video message. The mix will start showing up on major retailer shelves over the next couple of months and has a suggested retail price of $6.98.

Now that Dolly has released a holiday cookie kit, I’m hoping she’ll release holiday versions of her partywear line. I absolutely want to see what festive designs she’d choose for plates, napkins, and more.
