The singer is taking it back to her Tennessee days in a new Instagram photo.

Dolly Parton is taking it back to her country roots with a throwback photo shared on Instagram.

In the snap, a young Parton, just 27 years old, is seen sitting outside of the open door of what appears to be a pickup truck. She wore blue jeans and a denim jacket over a black and white polka dot blouse. The singer left her hair down in curls with a bandana tied around her head, and large hoop earrings completed the look.

The photo is a nod to the legend's roots, as she alluded to her 11th studio album in the caption, writing, "My Tennessee Mountain Home." The album is near and dear to Parton's heart, with the cover photo featuring an image of Parton's family home from the late 1940s and early 1950s.

"One of my all time favorite photos of Dolly. 👑 👢 🎶 ❤️," one fan wrote.

Another fan commented, "I love this Tennessee Mountain Girl ❤️"

The Tennessee native is always staying true to who she is, even when she is decorating for the holidays. In a recent interview with Better Homes and Gardens, she told the outlet that when she decorates for Christmas she always adds a hint of home, noting, “We didn’t even have electricity for lights on the tree. We had popcorn garland. That’s one of the things I have to have today. I never got over being country."

Aside from decorating for the holidays, the singer is gearing up to release a new Christmas special, Dolly Parton's Mountain Magic Christmas. The film will feature musical guests like Jimmy Fallon–whom the singer recently dropped a Christmas song with—along with Willie Nelson, Billy Ray Cyrus, Jimmie Allen, Zach Williams, and Miley Cyrus

Fans can tune into the 2-hour special on Thurs. Dec. 1 at 8 PM ET/PT on NBC.
