  • Dolly Parton had toned abs and legs in a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader body suit during her performance at their football game on Thanksgiving.

  • She doesn't typically go to the gym, but instead sweats by doing "rejoicing exercises."

  • Food-wise, she follows a low-carbohydrate diet, and is a fan of homemade egg salad.

Dolly Parton has solidified herself as a cultural icon in more ways than one. For starters, she runs her Imagination Library for children, funded a COVID-19 vaccine that saved lives, and casually donated a million dollars to the Salvation Army last week. And yet, she is still rocking out on stage on the regular. Talk about goals.

This past weekend, the 77-year-old singer wore a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader costume while performing at the team's game on Thanksgiving. She donned a sparkling see-through body suit and a cropped blue top that showed off her strong core. Dolly completed the outfit with a pair of white shorts, flaunting her epic legs.

The Cowboys dropped a few Instagram photos of the performance, and obviously, I'm not the only one singing Dolly’s praises—her fans hyped her up in the comments, too.

“The QUEEN!! Dolly is the ultimate entertainer!,” wrote one fan. Another added what’s on everyone’s mind: “Dolly is a national treasure! We do not deserve her, but we are blessed to have her.”

Right on—you can watch her full performance on YouTube if you so desire. Trust me, it's worth a peek!

If you’re wondering what Dolly has been doing to stay so strong during her decades-long career, you’ve come to the right spot. The "Jolene" singer is famously quiet about her personal life, but did share some wellness tips with the Wall Street Journal in 2021. For one thing, she gets her heart rate up by doing what she calls "rejoicing exercises," rather than clocking hours at the gym.

“I grew up in the Pentecostal church where we used to do a lot of shouting and jumping around. I keep my motor running in the mornings when I just shout through the house praising the Lord,” Dolly said. “But that’s the extent of my exercise. I’m not big on going to the gym...and I’m particular about who I sweat with.”

When it comes to eating, Dolly has been open about her struggles with dieting in the past, she shared in her documentary Dolly Parton: The Queen of Country, per The Express. But now, Dolly follows a more sustainable low-carb diet.

“I usually try to keep some homemade egg salad around because I like to have something quick and easy," she told WSJ. Then, during the week, she'll eat things like egg salad on toast with tomato, or a bagel with cream cheese, cucumbers, and tomatoes.

Her biggest tip though, is staying young at heart. “I ain’t never gonna be old because I ain’t got time to be old,” Dolly previously shared with Oprah. “I’ll look as young as my plastic surgeons will allow me!”

She is open about her nips and tucks, and began getting plastic surgery around 40, she shared. Dolly's biggest advice? Make sure you love yourself inside first before going under the knife. “It’s an attitude," she said. "You gotta shine from within, which can make you feel and seem young to other people.”

Dolly, you're an icon through and through!
