Dollar General Is Selling the “Sweetest” $3 Find, Just in Time for Spring
When it comes to finding great kitchen accessories, don’t count Dollar General out. The discount store has some beautiful kitchenware for incredibly low prices, especially this spring.
Case in point? An all new Dollar General product that will fly off the shelves: a $3 fruit-patterned ceramic berry colander, which is sure to add an adorable pop of color to your kitchen, whether you’re rinsing off fresh farmers market produce or trying out a new baking recipe.
The store has two different styles to choose between — blueberries and strawberries — or you could buy both and make a set to put on display.
TikTok content creator Dev (@devreelle) shared the find in a recent video first posted on April 9, writing, “Obsessed with these 🤍🤍🤍🍓🫐🥰.”
Judging from the nearly 450 comments on Dev’s TikTok, plenty of other shoppers are eager to add the colanders to their kitchen counters too.
The colander is available on Dollar General’s website to look at, though the site states they’re exclusively sold in stores. Product info on the colanders (shown in both blueberry and strawberry) show that they’re sold in a square shape, are available for purchase in assorted designs, are “sturdy and durable,” and made from high-quality ceramic material.
“I can’t believe you showed us this, I’m gonna go buy every single one now,” one TikToker commented.
“My mom got me the strawberry one for Easter!” another commenter wrote. “I planted a succulent in it instead of using it for fruit lol.”
Other commenters highlighted how “adorable” the colanders are, while others shared that they’re “so cute” and would look “so sweet” on display in the kitchen.
Dollar General isn’t the only popular store that’s offering stunning, fruit-inspired kitchenware right now. Aldi is selling similar $6.99 colanders, which come in three different color options: baby blue, red and green strawberries, and blueberries with light green leaves.
