As winter drags on, looking towards sunnier days may be all that gets us through the cold, icy months. However, January is almost behind us and spring will be here before we know it. While we count down the days to warmer weather, giving our kitchen a little refresh in preparation is the perfect way to add some extra brightness to the gray days. Luckily, some of our favorite retailers have started to roll out the much-anticipated spring decor.
Instagram account @our_houstonsmith_home recently spotted some cheery finds at Dollar General, and while you certainly can’t go wrong with any of them, we were particularly charmed by the Printed Glass Measuring Cup. For only $3, this staple for measuring liquids is a must-have in the kitchen, and while the floral design makes it ideal for spring, it’s too cute not to use all year round.
“This measuring cup flaunts a beautiful floral print on its exterior surface, and the graduated measurements printed on the side help measure accurately,” reads the website. “It has a spout for hassle-free pouring and an easy-to-grip handle for comfortable holding.”
The cup is made from top-quality glass, yet is still lightweight and easy to maintain.
