For their first-ever debut of couture in the US, Dolce & Gabbana took things to next level with a three-day extravaganza highlighting their Alta collections: Gioielleria, Sartoria, and Moda. Here's what you need to know about the weekend.

Friday was for jewelry

The festivities kicked off at the New York Public Library where pieces from the brand’s made-in-Italy high jewelry collection were displayed throughout. Co-hosted by Sarah Jessica Parker, there was also a charity auction that took place during the Gala. Parker also led the audience in a short sing along of Frank Sinatra's New York New York. Because...when in New York!
