The Dolan Twins Announced They’re No Longer Posting Weekly YouTube Videos

The Dolan twins have announced a major change to their YouTube operations. Ethan and Grayson Dolan have become a staple of the YouTube community, releasing videos every Tuesday for the past five years. However, in their latest upload, the brothers shared that they're taking a step back, Entertainment Tonight reported.

In the video, which was posted on October 8, the pair reveal their decision to stop posting weekly uploads was largely inspired by their father's recent death. "Had we not been filming a video every week, we would have been able to spend more time with our family around the time that they needed us," Ethan said. Grayson also acknowledged that the pressure of their schedule didn't give the brothers time to properly grieve.

As BuzzFeed pointed out, the pair also said that the demand of posting a weekly video took a toll on their mental health. Grayson shared that when they did choose to take breaks, it felt like they were letting fans down.

The Dolan twins explained that instead of posting weekly videos, they intended to only post content they could truly spend time on. "If we have the proper amount of time, we can create something that we really love that our viewers will love as well," the brothers explained.

While there's no word on when the next video from the pair will debut, the brothers did get matching tattoos to memorialize the former importance of Tuesday. Additionally, they thanked fans for their support and expressed excitement for what the future might hold.

It might be difficult to imagine a week without a brand new Dolan twins video, but the YouTubers are sending an important message with their decision to prioritize mental health. Our fave celebs and internet personalities do live out their daily lives in a very public eye, and sometimes it's easy to forget that these people are human too, and like us, they also experience hardships.
