Doja Cat Wows in Zippered Leather Dress Covered in Green Feathers at the 2021 Grammys

Doja Cat pushed the fashion envelope on Sunday night at the 2021 Grammy Awards red carpet. The singer, who is nominated in the Best New Artist category tonight, wore a Roberto Cavalli ensemble by Fausto Puglisi.

The look had a edgy twist with a zippered leather-jacket top and a skirt detailed with green feathers. Doja Cat completed the outfit with matching leather platform sandals and a mullet hairstyle.

“It’s like a motorcycle jacket that’s fitted,” she told Giuliana Rancic during the E! red carpet pre-show. “I like something that’s out there. I have been very toned down lately. This is like something I have always wanted to do.”

In addition to Best New Artist, Doja is nominated for Record of the Year and Pop Solo Performance for her hit song “Say So.” She will also take the stage later this evening for a special performance that she says feels like “an action movie.”

The 63rd annual Grammy Awards airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET on CBS, honoring the best of the best in the music industry for the year. Hosted by Trevor Noah, the show takes place in a series of undisclosed locations across Los Angeles with a variety of stages for performers to make their own with proper safety precautions.

Up for top awards this year are Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Roddy Rich and Dua Lipa. Performers include Billie Eilish, Bad Bunny, Cardi B, Bruno Mars, Harry Styles and more.
