The full moon just passed, and Doja Cat dressed accordingly.

Per the rapper’s latest Instagram post, Doja had fun with another animal-channeled look: a DIY werewolf-vampire hybrid ensemble consisting of a pink pleather zip-up tank top, black knee-highs boots, and sheer black tights studded with black squares (sans pants).

She accessorized with a silver crucifix pendant necklace and a black leather handbag with silver-rimmed holes. And to complete the edgy costume, she opted for a straight platinum-blonde wig with its front strands dyed in black, alongside blood-red contact lenses, a red-stained lip look, and a pair of ombré-tinted sunglasses from Chanel.

“Awoo,” Doja originally captioned the post. Though, in response to what seemed to be an influx of criticism, she later edited the caption, writing, “Leave a comment oozing with jealousy, insecurity, or malice below! Your protesting is only support.”

The look is a departure from her recent beachy-boho looks during her vacation to Los Cabos, Mexico. In a since-deleted post on Instagram, the singer was seen posing on a boat in a black swimsuit featuring a string of dangling seashells, which she paired with dainty gold jewelry and a platinum-bleached pixie hairstyle. For another beach outing from the trip, she also wore a sheer white-lace co-ord, topped with woven open-toe heeled mules, a pair of statement gold bangle earrings, and layers of gold necklaces.

Still, the Grammy winner is no stranger to animal cosplay. For this year’s Met Gala, Doja famously dressed up as Choupette, the beloved cat of Karl Lagerfeld. The ensemble consisted of a dazzling silver-and-white hooded gown from Oscar de la Renta that incorporated 350,000 beads, plus a slew of feline prosthetics and makeup.

“I use fashion to express myself,” she later explained of the evening’s viral look. “So bottom line, any time that I’m doing something like this that’s avant-garde or out of the ordinary, it’s another way of just me expressing myself.”
