When it comes to red-carpet events, we always have a long list of celebs we're excited to see arrive, and Doja Cat is one such star. She has built up a reputation for daring looks that are guaranteed to get people talking. Think back to her 2021 sheer Oscars after party gown, or the hot pink over-the-face netted catsuit she wore on the cover of Dazed last year. And who can forget the Schiaparelli show at Paris Fashion Week when she covered her entire body with 30,000 red crystals? Incred.
Yep, if we know one thing it's that Doja Cat is certainly not afraid of taking risks. But if anyone is going to be able to pull off such show-stopping looks, we reckon it's her. And Doja's latest 'fit is no exception, a Valentino see-through dress that is *completely* transparent.
Attending the Time 100 Gala in New York City last night, Doja arrived on the red carpet in a look from Valentino's spring 2023 couture collection. Featuring a sheer black panel over the bust, the lavender empire waist skirt fell all the way to the floor in layers of frothy ruffles extending into a train. Oh, and did we mention the dress was completely transparent? So much so, you could see her black underwear clearly through the skirt.
She added an edgy touch to the romantic dress with over-the-elbow red leather gloves, also from Valentino. A pair of black peep-toe platform heels and a diamond choker and matching chandelier earrings from Messika were the finishing touches.

Like we said, Doja is known for her bold fashion choices and she has previously rocked the see-through trend on more than one occasion. She's also become synonymous with experimental beauty looks, from her ever-changing hairstyles including a micro fringe to shaving her brows.
It's quite a contrast from her last red carpet look at the iHeartRadio Music Awards just a month ago. The artist showed her laid-back style in a white t-shirt and black leather trousers with chunky black boots. She added an element of drama in the form of a floor-sweeping cream shaggy fur coat.
One thing's for sure, Doja Cat always keeps us guessing. We have no idea what to expect from her next, but whatever it is we can't wait to see it.
