Dog's Sad Response to Uber Driver Making Her Sit on the Floor Is Just Pitiful

Rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft have to be on the list of the most helpful inventions in history, but four-legged passengers might not always agree. Until recently, it's been each driver's choice whether or not to allow pets in their car, so we don't blame animals for feeling left out.

Fortunately, there are options like Uber Pet to help fur babies get around with their owners, but sometimes there are still some difficulties for the animals. @Lilybug_lpb the Pit Bull had to sit on the floor of the car, for example, and her sad reaction has us all brokenhearted!

Poor Lily! We'd be feeling pretty darn upset if someone asked us to sit on the floor, so we don't blame her for her pitiful reaction. If anything, she responded better than most pups would! Heck--she responded better than we would've. Even if they're not a dog-loving Uber Pet driver, one would think that they'd at least allow all of their clients a comfy spot to sit.

"Why is he doing Uber Pet if he doesn't want the dog on the seat?" asked @num1hasbullafan. That's precisely what we're wondering! Even if it's just an extra job to make ends meet, agreeing to give someone and their pet a ride is kind of the entire point.

As Uber's website explains, "Uber Pet allows you to bring your pet on an Uber trip... You may bring one small animal such as a dog or a cat. It is the driver’s discretion whether any additional pets are allowed. There are no breed or size restrictions."

Anyone with a licensed service animal can use regular Uber X services with no additional charge for their furry friend. It might be considerate to select Uber Pet regardless, but service animals are always allowed to ride. Hopefully they'll get to ride on the seats!
