Dog's Reaction to Seeing Grandma After 6 Months Apart Is Beautiful

It took the pup a minute to catch on!

Reunions are the best, especially when it's been a while since you've seen your loved one. Perhaps that why this sweet dog's reaction to seeing Grandma after 6 months apart was so special. Well--that, and the way his mom set up the interaction!

@Whiskey__blu is one gorgeous Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix, but his personality is more apparent than either of his breeds. The moment when he realizes they walked by Grandma is just the sweetest thing, and TikTok is loving it!

Aww! Whiskey is such a smart pup! Whether it was Grandma's smell or the sight of her that made this pup remember has yet to be determined, but in a way, it doesn't even matter. The point is--he's so happy to see his Grandma! And we're so happy to watch them finally reuniting.

"The doggy went: wait a damn minute," joked commenter @cecyyruiiz. Basically! It took a moment after that double-take for him to start investigating the lady who walked by. We suppose he just couldn't believe his eyes!

@Lifewithloganandbear had the very same idea that we did. They wrote, "the scent kicked in!! So cute!" Whyever he turned his head, though, we're so glad he did. Imagine how this would've gone if he hadn't recognized her!

Several commenters asked for something along the lines of what @fr0gfaiiry said: "I wanna see this not in slow mo’." Yes, please!

Yep, just as we suspected... This scene is just as cute at full-speed! There really isn't anything like the love of a dog and his Grandma.
