Hello everyone. My name is Dawson. As you can see, I’m super photogenic and adorable. Just look at that mug.
I am a neutered male, brown and black Labrador Retriever mix. The shelter staff think I’m about 2 years and 7 months old. I weigh 66 pounds. I have been at the shelter since Apr 13.
If my striking eyes don't steal your heart, my amazing personality will. I am oh-so-affectionate. I love cuddles, snuggles, hugs, kisses, pets, pats, scratchies, more cuddles, and a dash of extra snuggles too. I am very loving, goofy, and have some of the best zoomies you've ever seen.
I love my favorite people, but it can take me a little bit to warm up to new strangers. I would like a home with humans to hug and prefer if they are teens to adults.
I play with dogs here and love it. I do, however, prefer to pick and choose which dogs are my friends (just like people do) and need to be in a home with a fenced yard so I have plenty of room to zoom and play. I like to chase small animals, so bigger dogs are better for me.
In addition, I know sit, paw, and love to go on walks. I'm the perfect dog. Come meet me today and fall in love.
