Dog Has Sad Yet Sweet Reaction to Human Brother Going Back to College
She's already missing him so much.
Empty nest syndrome can be really hard on parents and also really hard on the family pets! Both dogs and cats love having their humans around and just like humans, when those people leave the house animals miss them. College is a super exciting time for both students and parents, but ask any parent and they can tell you when the holidays are over and their kids are heading back to university. It's hard not to feel a bit sad.

TikTok user @Gerrykenny posts what we are all thinking, with "Dogs are wonderful, she misses her brother." @Michaeldural946 says, "Our precious pets are family, and soooo much more. Thanks for sharing this with us!! Keep us updated!!" Another viewer adds, "Our dog did this, too. She is gone now. We just lost her a month ago. My son is a junior at college. She hated when he would leave for school."
