Dog’s Reaction To Watching ‘The Lion King’ for the First Time Is Totally On-Point

It's no surprise that some dogs love watching movies as much as humans and then react to what they see on TV, especially if there are animals or sounds that catch their attention. Some dogs may react with curiosity, while others might be indifferent.

The owners of Cash, the Red Golden Retriever, captured him being so caught up in watching The Lion King as if he were a human child trapped in a dog's body, which they posted in a video on October 17. See for yourself!

He's so invested in this!

Dogs can react in various ways when watching TV, and their responses are often influenced by what's happening on the screen, as you can see.

And if you've watched The Lion King as a kid, you'd know that Scar, the film's antagonist, was quite intense. I guess dogs can sense that Scar is bad news even through the screen, as Cash is hiding behind the sofa.

The poor guy!

But as soon as the coast was clear again, he came out to watch it till the end!

I mean, I get why he was so curious and fascinated; it's a pretty good movie, although I didn't see the computer-generated version he was watching.

Many animals, including dogs, can be captivated by moving images and sounds on a television or screen. It's not uncommon for them to exhibit playful behavior or even reactions like barking, growling, or hiding when they see something that captures their attention.

Just like people, dogs can have unique personalities and preferences when it comes to entertainment.

Cash sure is a couch potato obsessed with watching TV; my dog, in comparison, is just a couch potato as he doesn't care about the TV at all. My cat is even more invested!

If you have a dog that enjoys watching movies, it can be a great bonding experience to share with them.
