Service dog puppy pick-up turns into emotional proposal: ‘Everyone deserves love like this’
A TikToker’s puppy proposal is pretty much a guaranteed gut punch right to the feels.
Momo and their girlfriend Lexi have been together for a decade since the two 23-year-olds began dating at 13. As Lexi finally got her service dog, Momo thought it was the perfect time to slip in a marriage proposal. It’s no surprise the video clocked in at 1.1 million views — a puppy and a wedding is a recipe for a cocktail of emotions.

“This is Lexi. She is the love of my life. We have been together for 10 whole years,” Momo wrote. “Today, we are picking up her service dog prospect puppy. He will be trained to help her with her invisible disabilities.”
Lexi’s service dog was a German shorthaired pointer puppy named Sterling.
“I have paid for her puppy completely in advance, but that’s not the only surprise she’ll be getting today,” Momo said. “Today, I asked her to be my wife. She said yes!”

Lexi looked at Sterling’s red dog collar, and the tag’s message was simple: “Marry me.” Momo dropped down on one knee and presented her with a ring. Lexi, overcome with emotion, fell to the floor.
“She is such a strong and amazing person; she has worked so hard to get where she is today,” Momo said of their future wife. “Yes, we are still young. We have lived in our very own home together for four years. We have always wanted to get married.”
TikTokers were happy for the couple and moved by the thoughtful proposal.
“Cried about her getting the service puppy, then sobbed at the proposal,” a user wrote.
“That puppy will always represent pure happiness,” another said.
“Getting proposed to whilst holding a puppy? Yes, please,” someone commented.
