New dog park and bar opening in Wichita Friday

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Are you and your dog ready to come to the “bark” side? Have a ball at Barks & Brews’ grand opening at 1312 E. English St. on Friday beginning at 3 p.m.

“We are opening Wichita’s first off-leash dog bar concept. We have a full-service bar, tap menu, and obviously the off-leash dog park, the most important part, I think,” said Kris Withrow, the owner of Barks & Brews. “Just come out and enjoy the weekend; bring your favorite dogs. We’ll be here to greet you!”

Barks & Brews features separate play areas for large and small dogs, agility equipment, shade, rest areas, and a full-service bar with dog-themed cocktails.
