Dog Owner Accurately Shows the Difference Between Cuddling Senior and Young Dogs

There are some dogs who will do anything to be right next to you at all times. Other dogs though, like ours, you have to force the cuddle sessions. And if you're in the same boat as us where we make our dogs give us love, then you might've noticed a difference between older and younger dogs.

TikTok user @noah_and_lincoln2621 recently posted a clip that shows the difference between cuddling senior dogs and cuddling young dogs. The result is oh-so-accurate. Take a look!

LMAO! This video is spot-on. We know that senior dogs still love the cuddles, but they just don't show as much excitement. And trying to get young dogs to calm down is dang near impossible. One day they'll grow out of it though. Well, maybe. LOL!

"Accurate!! Senior dog made my heart smile when he laid his head down!" wrote @butterfly.soul. He was in heaven with those snuggles. Meanwhile the young dog couldn't contain his emotions. LOL! @melanielandon7 commented, "Young dog said, 'Yay! Slumber party with mom, YESSSSSS.'” Let's add this to the list of reasons why dogs and kids are so similar.

If you're only wanting a snug as a bug in a rug kind of dog, you're in luck. There are some dogs breeds that are known to be more cuddly than others. These breeds include Golden Retrievers, Bichon Frises, Lhasa Apso and Brittany Spaniels. But the one that takes the top as the cuddlest of all is the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Although these five breeds are known to be the cuddlest, it's important to note that there are always exceptions.
