Dog Mom's Memory of Waking Up Early to Watch the Sunrise with Her Pups Is So Beautiful

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a morning person. My husky-mix is always annoyed that I'm not also awake at the first sign of morning, but I can usually convince him to settle back down for a while. Still--he'd love to go for an adventure first thing in the morning!

That's why I felt very inspired by Maui the Golden Retriever's owner, who woke up at 4:30 a.m. just to take her sweet dogs to the beach. As early as that is, the happy pups and gorgeous beach views quickly had me considering doing the very same thing for my dogs. Needless to say, the pups' November 22 beach morning is a core memory they'll never forget!

OMG--this is simply magical! Nothing can beat a beach trip, except a beach trip with dogs, of course. Add in a Starbucks run for pup cups, and that sounds like the perfect morning to me! And I have a feeling @maui_thegoldenpup and his friends would agree.

Commenter @aholcomb96 saw the bigger picture in this beautiful scene. She said, "This is beautiful! I recently read that your dog only knows the world that you show them… I say show them everything possible that is good!" I love the way you think! A pet's owner is responsible for the kind of life that animal leads, and whether they spend their days only in one place. And that's not to say every pet parent should travel non-stop! But some special trips with your four-legged friend really will go a long way in helping you bond with your dog. Just look at these happy Golden Retrievers and Corgi!

Of course, your dog's beach safety is just as important as their happiness, so make sure to keep them supervised and nearby. Bring plenty of water to keep your pup hydrated, and don't forget the camera to pick up on these priceless memories!
