Dog Keeps Getting Overlooked at Shelter All Because He's 'Too Big'

This absolutely breaks our hearts.

Shelters across the United States are packed with pets in search of their forever homes. This is why volunteers and shelter staff are working even harder to help these fur babies match up with the owners of their dreams. Animal advocate and TikTok user @meaghanvilleneuveea is one of those hardworking individuals who use social media to showcase some ultra-special pets.

In this popular video, Meghan introduces Harley, a gorgeous large-breed dog in search of his perfect home. Although he's been overlooked because of his size, she knows his fur-ever family is out there waiting for him.

Aww, Harley! He's such a beautiful boy, and it breaks our hearts to hear how he's been overlooked. Luckily, TikTok is here to help.

"Sooo handsome. Go get him," wrote commenter @diannefouts. Exactly! Judging by this interaction with Meghan, Harley seems like such a love bug. We know there's someone out there who will adore him just as much as he'll adore them.

In fact, TikTok could've helped that person find Harley! Viewer @dianalynn917 said, "where is he? I'll take him right now if I get help with transport." That would be amazing! As much as we wanted to see this work out, we were even happier to see this reply from @lydialarson5: "he was adopted today." It's true!

Look how happy he is! We're sure being out of the shelter brought out his personality, but we know that's also what the magic of rescue does. Congratulations, gorgeous boy!
