Dog Gets Rescued After 109 Days Alone in the Desert and Her Reunion with Dad Is Everything
This story is just incredible.
In December 2022, a man and his beloved canine companion Blu were involved in a harrowing rollover car crash while driving through the desert between Barstow and Needles, California. Blu escaped the crash and ran into the desert and her owner couldn't find her.
A remarkable 108 days later, a trucker spotted her in the desert where she had been living in a drainage ditch. The TikTok account for @Dogdaysearchandrescue shared this amazing search and find mission on their page. Watch the following to see how they captured Blu.

Blu's (Full name Blueberry Muffin Cake, awwwww!) owner Mike was moving across the state when the accident happened, and when help arrived Blu escaped the truck. In April a trucker ( also named Mike) spotted Blu in the desert and attempted to catch her along with his dog, but Blu ran away. Mike posted Blu's info on a missing dog page, and that's when Dog Day got involved to save Blu. After her capture they contacted her owner who drove 27 hours to get her. Mike, the truck driver who helped in Blu's rescue, came to the reunion as well.
